Bethel is a friendly and well centred retreat for a short or longer stay to enjoy the wonderful variety that is Sussex.
We are two miles from the heart of the historic county town of Lewes and its castle, battlegrounds, ancient buildings and museum and also a variety of antique shops, bookshops, workshops and many restaurants. Glyndebourne is a 10 minute drive and we are close to Brighton, the Universities and also near to the Sussex coast. It is good walking country and there is a variety of National Trust buildings, gardens and landscapes in the area.
